Welcome to the Lord Family Home Page. This page was created to share the Lord family genealogical and biographical information with family members and researchers.
My parents, Rossiter Ely Lord (87K image) and Arline Porter Lord (91K image), brought to their marriage (71K image) an impressive set of New England ancestors. This is the story of that rich heritage. Included is biographical information for my father's direct line, an overview of each ancestoral line, the text of diaries kept by my great grandmother Elizabeth Alice Ely, and a complete pedigree chart for the family.
Note: I am working on the Ely Diaires. I believe all the text is okay but some of the "Return to Home Page" links are broken and are being repaired. I am also changing all page backgounds to white and changing the fonts. I had forgotten how many files there were!!
