Sun Aug 1 Pleasant. Another son born to Uncle Jacob. Mother went up there.
Mon Aug 2 Pleasant. Bell went to Waterbury. Henry to Hartford and I do cooking.
Tue Aug 3 Warm. I ironed and baked.
Wed Aug 4 Pleasant. Henry went to Lyme and Mary came home with him. Evening Henry, Archie & I took a ride and called on Mr & Mrs Geo. Warner.
Fri Aug 6 Pleasant, quite cool. Mrs Bennett & Ellen Mack, Oscar & Nett spent the day here. Oscar & Nett went berrying awhile. Henry went to Hamburgh.
Sat Aug 7 Pleasant. Eclipse of the Sun. Henry came home to-night, has been helping Col. Brockway pack to move to Norwalk. Henry Parker's little boy died last night, Robert Trumbell.
Sun Aug 8 Pleasant. Henry, Archie & I went to Deep River and Mother came home with us. Evening Henry went to Hamburgh to go to Norwich with Col. Brockway.
Mon Aug 9 Pleasant.
Wed Aug 11 Pleasant. Mary & Edna went to Hartford & back on Silver Star.
Thur Aug 12 Henry came home this evening.
