Come sing to me of Heaven
When I'm about to die
Sing songs of holy ecstacy
To waft my soul on highChorus:
There'll be no more sorrow there
In Heaven above where all is love
There'll be no more sorrow there
When cold and sluggish drops
Roll off my marble brow
Break forth in songs of Joyfulness
Let Heaven begin belowChorus: There'll &c &c
When the last moment comes
I watch my dying face
And catch the bright seraphic glow
Which in each future playsChorus:
When in my raptured ear
Let one sweet song be given
Let music charm me last on Earth
And greet me first in Heaven
Chorus:
Then close my sightless eyes
And lay me down to rest
And clasp my cold and icy hand
Upon my lifeless breast.Chorus:
When round my lifeless day
Assemble those I love
Then sing of Heaven delightful Heaven
My glorious home aboveChorus:
