Sat Jul 1 Evening Henry came home.
Sun Jul 2 Baby weighed 16 lbs.
Mon Jul 3 Pleasant. Henry went back on the Sunshine. Washed & ironed. Mother baked.
Tue Jul 4 Pleasant. Loss & Ellen came down, Heber & Lewis came home & we all went to picnic in Birch Grove. Celebrating all over the country.
Thur Jul 6 Mother & Ellen went to Essex.
Fri Jul 7 Night Mary Parker came here to visit Bell. The (--fanys) in Waterbury.
Sat Jul 8 Received a letter from Henry.
Mon Jul 10 Mrs Israel Martin died.
Tue Jul 11 Rainy.
Wed Jul 12 Mary left here. Mother & Ellen went to Hamburgh to visit Argo, arrived from Hartford. Received letter from Henry with baby's chair and some play things.
Fri Jul 13 Mother & Ellen came home to night.
Sat Jul 15 received a letter from Henry.
Sun Jul 16 Loss came down & Ellen went home with him.
Fri Jul 21 Bell went to Lyme, Old.
Sat Jul 22 Charles Wood & family arrived from Illi. Bell came home from Lyme.
Thur Jul 27 Afternoon Mother & I started for Mt. Parnarssus. Baby not very well. Warm weather. Paid my board to this time.
Fri Jul 28 Father & Mother Lord & Henry's substitute spent part of the day here.
Sat Jul 29 Henry sent me a lounge by the Argo. Very warm. Mrs O. A. Banning a daughter born.
Sun Jul 30 1 o'clock A.M. Henry came home. Mother came home from Mt. Parnarssus.
Mon Jul 31 Henry went back on the Sunshine.
Tue Aug 1 Very warm weather.
Thur Aug 3 Mother went to Hamburgh & back.
Fri Aug 4 Mother went whortleberrying.
Sat Aug 5 Received a letter from Henry. Called on Mrs O. A. Banning
Tue Aug 8 Mother went to Essex.
Wed Aug 9 Spent the afternoon at Ellen.
Thur Aug 10 Spent the forenoon at Mrs Wm Brockway's & afternoon at Mrs T.P. Warner's. Received a letter from Henry. Baby cut his first tooth through. Paid my board to this time.
Mon Aug 14 Baby cut another tooth. Washed. Freelove Shippie, Adelaide LaPlace & (Tela) spent the afternoon here. Bell & I called over to Mrs Post's.
Tue Aug 15 1865 Received a letter from Henry. He expects to come home on Saturday.
Wed Aug 16 Mother went to Deep River.
Thur Aug 17 Mother came home from Deep River to night. Herbert Pratt has been dead about two weeks.
Fri Aug 18 Bell & I went to Deep River then took the Sunshine to Hartford where we arrived at 7 o'clock.
Sat Aug 19 Went to have baby's pictures taken. Henry, Bell & I came home on the Granite State. Henry is going to have a vacation.
Sun Aug 20 Warm weather.
Tue Aug 22 Baby cut his 3rd tooth. Afternoon Henry & I am at Father Lord's with Willie at Saybrook.
Wed Aug 23 Baby 6 months old, has three teeth and weighs 20 3/4 lbs.
Thur Aug 24 Henry, Willie & I went up to Sarah's, her baby weighs 18 1/2 lbs.
Fri Aug 25 Morning Henry went a claming, at noon he (sear---) for Plum Island & Gull Island fishing.
Sat Aug 26 Afternoon Henry & Willie returned, the caught 10 blue fish, came home, arrived about dark.
Sun Aug 27 Loss & Ellen came down & spent the day.
Mon Aug 28 Afternoon Henry & I went to Hamburgh. Night he started for Lyme to go from there to Hartford. Bell went with him to go to Waterbury.
Tue Aug 29 Baby cut his 4th tooth.
Thur Aug 31 Hear Aunt Alice Ely is dead, died last night or today. Not my Aunt though. Went up street and called. Mrs (Czarina) LaPlace sick.
