Mon Nov 1 Henry went to Lyme & back.
Tue Nov 2 Partly cleaned parlor, painted it.
Wed Nov 3 Henry went to Hartford & I attended a rug bee at Capt.. Carlos Warner's.
Thur Nov 4 Sewed at Celia Brockway's. Henry came home in the evening. Pleasant. Lewis went to Lyme on the Weller, came home with a team, arrived home at 11:30, chilled through and through.
Fri Nov 5 Papered the Parlor. Lewis has a hard cold, but worked around some.
Sat Nov 6 Mother & Bell went to Hartford & back on the Star. Weller run into the schooner Sophia Ann in Long Island sound and sunk her. Lewis sick with a cold.
Sun Nov 7 Loss came down & Eddie went home with him.
Mon Nov 8 Henry went to Hartford. Lewis sick with a cold. A very windy day.
Tue Nov 9 Windy again. Henry came home on the Star. Oscar came up tonight and called to see Lewis.
Wed Nov 10 Pleasant, morning not quite as windy through the day, as for two days past. Henry & I went to Deep River & called at Aunt Emelines.
Thur Nov 11 Went up to Celia Brockway's and sewed.
Fri Nov 12 Henry went to Hartford & back. Dr. Ely called to see Lewis, has some fever. I have a hard cold myself. Wayland came up with the team.
Sat Nov 13 Lewis about the same. My cold better. Called up to Celia's and bartered some work.
Sun Nov 14 Am most sick with a cold.Mon Nov 15 1869 Cold not better.
Tue Nov 16 My cold better. Loss came home with Eddie this evening. Henry went to Hartford. Edna went home with Loss.
Wed Nov 17 Very stormy. Henry came home this evening.
Thur Nov 18 Thanksgiving. Windy, but pleasant otherwise. Quiet Thanksgiving for us, Lewis not quite as well.
Fri Nov 19 Windy. Henry went to Hartford. Eddie went to Mr Brockway's with the team. Willie Lord called.
Sat Nov 20 Very stormy forenoon. Cleared off & is pleasant the P.M. Bell & I intended to go to Hartford, but was prevented by the storm.
Sun Nov 21 Pleasant. Bell attended Mrs Sterling Parkers funeral, she was 44 years of age.
Mon Nov 22 A very pleasant day. Went to Hartford & back on the Star. Took dinner with Henry at the United States Hotel, he has taken his position as clerk there. Lewis not as well.
Thur Nov 25 Pleasant. Washed & ironed. Lewis very sick.
Fri Nov 26 Pleasant. Loss & Ellen came down, Edna came home with them.
Sat Nov 27 Bell went to Hartford on the Star. Henry came home to-night with her. Lewis not better.
Mon Nov 29 Henry returned to Hartford.
