Aug 27 I witnessed the marriage of Capt Joseph Tucker to Martha Post, they were married in the Congregational church in Essex. I rode from the wedding to my boarding place at Mr Browns with Emma Lord and Gib LaPlace.
Thu Aug 28 Died Sarah Kingsley aged 18
Sat Aug 30 Died Mrs Cynthia Post aged 74.
Sun Aug 31 I attended the funeral of Mrs Post in the Baptist church this afternoon.
