Sat. Feb. 2 A clear day, but quite cold. I went over to Hamburgh had a sleigh-ride from Mr Frank LaPlaces to Aunt Mary Anns, where I took dinner I then called on Kate from there I came home. In the evening I went a sleighing with Gilbert LaPlace to Essex and Meadowwoods.
Sun. Feb 3 Mrs. George Banning published in Hadlyme.
Mon Feb 4 A cold day. In the evening I went a sleighing with Gib to Chester.
Wed Feb 6 Uncle Ansel and wife spent the day here.
Feb 7 Received a letter from Oscar.
Sat. Feb 9 Received a letter from Aunt Emeline she has another son born the 23 of Sep. She is now living in Chelsea.
Mon Feb 11 In the evening Frank LaPlace came home with his wife he married Celia Davis of Long Island.
