
Wed June 1 Pleasant. My cold & Mother's better. Henry came home in the morning on the Silver Star, from Saybrook, then went to Essex and Hamburgh.
Thur June 2 Warm. Henry paint in the entry - green.
Fri June 3 Bell & Nett came home to-night.
Sat June 4 Warm. Mother, Henry, Ellen & I went to Hartford & back on the Silver Star.
Sun June 5 Foggy some.
Mon June 6 Nett & Bell went to East Haddam on the boat. Rained some.
Tue June 7 Henry went to Hartford & back on the Star. Rained some. Census taken.
Wed June 8 Rainy. I sewed, wind S.E.
Thur June 9 Cloudy, wind S.E. Henry went to Saybrook and back. Mother went to Hamburgh.
Fri June 10 Cloudy.
Sat June 11 Rainy morning, cloudy the rest of the day.
Sun June 12 Pleasant.. Loss & Ellen came down.
Mon June 13 Bell & Nett went to East Haddam on the Star & Henry to Hartford. We washed, rained very hard during the P.M.
Tue June 14 Rained most of the day. Henry came home this evening.
Wed June 15 1870 Pleasant. Mother Herny & I went over to Uncle Wm's, had plenty of Strawberries. Mrs Jewett, Mrs Parker & Mrs Pitt Ely spent the P.M. there.
Thur June 16 (Morgerian) LaPlace & (-----------) spent the day here.
Fri June 17 Showery. Henry went to Hamburgh & back.
Sat June 18 Very warm. Henry & Oscar went to Hartford. Nett & Bell went far East Haddam. Cleaned my room in the morning, afternoon Mother, Archie & I called over to Mrs Lander's.
Mon June 20 Very warm. Henry went to Hartford & back on the Star.
Tue June 21 To-night Henry and I came to East Haddam with our team.
Wed June 22 Henry took the morning boat to Hartford. P.M. Ellen, Millie & I took a ride to Moodus & visited Bell's school. A sort of an exhibiton.
Thur June 23 Cloudy, morning sprinkled some. Warm afternoon. Spent last night with Ellen Ely. Came home evening, took tea at Mrs Emery Gates'es.
Fri June 24 A very warm day. Oscar & Mother went to East Haddam in a sailboat.
Sat June 25 A very warm day. Henry came home from Saybrook. Mother & Bell came home to-night. Bell went to Middletown with Ellen.
Sun June 26 Warm.
Mon June 27 Cloudy morning, warm afternoon. Helped Nett sew during the forenoon, she has gone home this P.M. for a 3 weeks vacation.
Tue June 28 A very warm day. We washed. Thunder shower this P.M. Henry went to Saybrook. Ellen LaPlace arrived this place from Cleveland.
Wed June 29 Warm. Henry went to Hartford. Mrs Orrin Miner died last night at 9 o'clock and left a babe 2 hours old. She was 29 years old.
Thur June 30 A warm day. Mother & I attended Mrs Orrin Miner's funeral at 2 P.M.
